Katias vintage shop

I recently become madly in love with this Blog that so darling.

I have wanted to get into sewing and knitting and all those crafty type things for some time now, but most of my friends and family thought it was weird and grannyish of me. I think i finally got over their judgements and decided to really get into it. they arent really that grannyish even. and if they are, most girls and even boys now-a-days are wearing vintage clothing from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 60's so they can thank the grandmas for their clothing because they are the ones who originally wore it. and all sewing does it make it a little different and renew the old. and plus its a cheap, cute, green route to go!

Here is a little sneak peak at some of Katia's ideas...

Isnt she lovely?
All her ideas and outfits are so simple, yet perfect outfit inspirations.
I love vintage treasures made into renewal projects!

One of the reasons i love Etsy so much is the three re words..

Here is one of my favorite shops that has this concept down.
I absolutely love the fact that Jess uses old scraps from around for packing and shipping. Not only is it a perfect going green idea but it is unique and relevant.

You can find more of Jess's clothes Here.
Such lovely and dreamy little outfits and accessories. Dont you wish you had a lovely little vintage shop like this?

Dear Panda Trend

Kung Fu Panda started you.
Please stay.

Dear Catastrophe Waitress

Running has never felt better than in the rain.

Hanging out in the library is pretty good for a tuesday night. Being productive is also really good. I watched a movie for Asian history class, The Way Home. It was almost a silent film and the grandmother created such a sentimental feel. The little boy was a normal westernized spoiled brat, and his late realization of his grandmothers worth ruined the movie a little for me. It wasn't a complete waste of time, but i probably would not recommend it.
Overall rating: C

Im not sure why i have not read On The Road, but i rented it today. I was really torn between the edited version, and the original scroll. i chose the edited. Maybe if i become a true Jack Kerouac fan the original scroll will be necessary.

Belle and Sebastian have been on my playlist all day. And they feel so good.

I can feel that 2010, 2k10, twentyten, twothousand&ten is going to be bliss.
I hope writing this out is not a curse.
I have been looking into internships at my favorite npo's recently and with a few weeks of planning and dealing i think i will apply.
Also humanitarian mission is on the agenda. along with volunteer work, moving home, starting a new college, sexy six pack club, and maybe some fall traveling.

Plus i have already created a history in 2010. Documented thanks to MaggieElizas camera.
